About the event
Join The Valkyrie Project on Friday, 21 August, to learn more about the nuances of human performance for military women. This virtual one-hour discussion and Q+A will be led by our head of research, Dr. Alissa Ackerman, who holds a PhD in Human Performance.
Alissa Ackerman, PhD, CSCS, TSAC-F, is the Research and Human Performance Officer for the Valkyrie Project. A first responder turned strength coach turned scientist, she holds a PhD in Human Bioenergetics from Colorado State University's Department of Health and Exercise Science, where her research focused on physical and psychological readiness and resilience in military populations. Alissa brings over 17 years of coaching experience across civilian and tactical environments, and is passionate about human performance and empowering people to be their best through education and support.
This webinar is designed not only for military women, but also for those who train, lead, or serve with them.
